MEET NIKITA

I’m Nikita Madhyani, and my journey is one of creativity, cultural exploration, and bold career shifts. I began my professional life as a dentist in Toronto, Canada, practicing for six years before selling my practice to follow a deeper calling. My childhood passion for design led me to New York City, where I pursued formal training for interior design at the renowned New York School of Interior Design.

Fueled by an insatiable curiosity, I immersed myself in travel from the enchanting streets of Paris to the vibrancy of Mexico City and beyond, learning about culture, tradition, and local hospitality. These journeys, including time spent with rug weavers in Jaipur and experiencing the warmth of local hospitality, have profoundly shaped my approach. They taught me the value of storytelling, tradition, and the human connection at the heart of every great design.

Inspired by these experiences, I created NM Studio – a company that weaves together my passions for design, hospitality, and cultural exploration. It’s a space where creativity and collaboration flourish, celebrating craftsmanship and the beauty of meaningful connections.

At NM Studio, I curate bespoke retreats, collaborate with artisans, and craft experiences that inspire transformation and discovery. This work has allowed me to merge my diverse interests into a career that feels deeply aligned with who I am, rooted in authenticity, heritage, and innovation.
